Making Chocolate

Chocolate is one of the most delicious foods in the world, but the chocolate we eat is very different from the beans that grow on the cacao tree. In this essay, I will describe how chocolate is made.

The process starts in the plantation when the pods are harvested and split open. The white sticky beans are spread out and left to ferment. This changes the color to brown. After fermenting, the beans are dried and packed in bags before being sent to the factory. In the factory, the beans are sorted and roasted. Then the shells are removed by winnowing. The beans are then ground and turned into a thick bitter liquid. Sugar is added, along with milk to make the product sweeter. After refining and tempering to make the chocolate smoother, it is poured into molds to make different shapes. Finally, it is wrapped in beautiful boxes and sent to the shops.

As you can see, the process has a lot of steps, but it is very easy for us to enjoy the finished product.

How to Write a Good Procedure Essay

Have you ever crammed the night before an exam, wondering how you’re going to get a high grade on a composition? Indeed, this often happens in the CRWE course where students focus on process or procedure essays, among others. Below I’ll outline how to write a stellar one.

First, it’s important to read the tasks carefully since you will get two options on the exam. Choose the easier topic and write a short title. Second, make a short outline before you start writing. You should write the verbs that you will use in the body of your essay. After that, write a 2-3 sentence introduction with a suitable “hook”, compelling your reader to keep reading, as well as a clear topic sentence that is not copied from the task itself. In the body, you must write the steps in a logical order, using linking words as well as additional details. To get extra points, you can employ both imperative forms of verbs as well as modals. Moreover, you will impress your reader if you use varied vocabulary and sentences. Finally, you need a 2-3 sentence conclusion. In this paragraph, you should refer in general to the procedure again, commenting on how easy or difficult it is.
